Striking Manganoan Vesuvianite thumbnail crystals. The flat terminated crystals are gem. They have an amazing color variation from purple to very saturate and rich fuchsia-purple at the caps, and apple-green at the center. The luster is strong and the crystals are glassy. Atop are seen small cream Garnet var. Grossular crystals which is one unique combination. That is the most intense color that the mine produced.  The colorfulness of the specimen is gorgeous.  For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4. In very good condition – some small nicks and contacts. On acrylic base.
Charming!
