From a less known Bulgarian locality comes a beautiful and intensely colored in purple Quartz var. Amethyst. The Amethysts are vitreous and chunky with sharp pyramidal tips and strong luster. The color is rich purple at the tips to colorless at the bottom of the crystals. Amethyst grows on a Chalcedony layer. In very good condition – some small nicks.
