Marvelous bright and gem blue Lazulite crystals with Siderite from a recent find in Rapid Creek - the famous phosphate deposits of Yukon. Lazulite is a rare magnesium aluminum phosphate and some of the finest come from this locality. Lazulite crystals are sharp, highly lustrous, very well formed, monoclinic, deep indigo blue color to lighter blue color. The most amazing aspect is the gemminess of the crystals – they are transparent with marvelous and saturated blue-green nuances. Some gemmy yellow-brown Siderite crystals add a nice accent. Some nicks and contacts. On acrylic base.

Superb gem Lazulite!
