Superb bright and gem blue Lazulite crystals from a new find in Rapid Creek - the famous phosphate deposits of Yukon. Actually this specimen comes from a brand new locality in Rapid Creek area – Mt Seafoam. Lazulite is a rare magnesium aluminum phosphate and some of the finest come from this locality. Lazulite crystals are sharp, highly lustrous, very well formed, monoclinic, deep indigo blue color measuring up to 5mm. The most amazing aspect is the gemminess of the crystals – they are transparent with marvelous and saturated blue-green colors. Some brown Siderite and transparent white Quartz crystals add a nice accent. In very good condition – some small nicks and contacts. On acrylic base.

Sumptuous gem Lazulite!
