Beautiful specimen from a new find of colorful Ajoite pseudomorph after Azurite, after Malachite. These specimens were initially identified as Chrysocolla, but recently analyzed by University of Arizona as Ajoite. The specimen displays tender turquoise blue blades covered with small needles of Ajoite pseudomorph after what were Azurite crystals pseudomorphed to Malachite and after to Ajoite. This is probably a double or triple pseudomorph. Some small green Malachite crystals grow above. In good condition – some small damages.

Marvelous pseudomorph!
