Beautiful specimen of Rhodochrosite with Polylithionite, Aegirine and Albite. Displays nicely intergrown tender salmon-pink Rhodochrosite crystals with shiny Polylithionite rosettes.  The Rhodochrosite crystals have rhombohedral habit. They are complete and have perfect, sharp shape with good luster. Polylithionite rosettes are parallel plates with pearly crystals. They are very shiny and light reflective. Some Aegirine crystals with black color and colorless Albite form the base. For references see The Mineralogical Record, 21, 332-333. In good condition – some contacts. On acrylic base.
