Beautiful specimen of Garnet var. Andradite and Hedenbergite. Dodecahedral Andradite crystals to 15mm are nested on a green Hedenbergite. The Garnets are with pleasant red-brown color, very well crystallized with sharp edges and matt lustrous. They are slightly gemmy. The matrix is of parallel Hedenbergite columns, grown in a cluster. In good condition – two partial cracks. On acrylic base.
