Gorgeous orange colored Grossular Garnets attractively set on green Clinochlore. This is quite uncommon specimen from Jeffrey mine. Grossular crystals are up to 4mm, transparent, gem quality with superb luster and pleasant color. Perfect rhombohedral crystal habit with rhomboid shape faces - classic for this locality. Clinochlore crystals well developed in rosette clusters with rich green color. Some Diopsides crystals grow vertically. The high quality of the minerals gives perfect display and strong contrast. For references see the issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4. In very good condition – some small damages. On acrylic base.

Enchanting!
