Marvelous gem Rhodochrosite specimen from Uchucchacua mine, which has produced some of the finest Rhodochrosites. Rhodochrosite crystals to 14 mm, with rich red color and scalenhedron shape, are aesthetically set on black Manganese oxide. Rhodochrosite crystals are sharp with perfect terminations and some are doubly terminated. The red Rhodochrosite strongly contrasts on the black background. In good condition – some contacts on the outside edges. On acrylic base.
